As the local chapter of ACJA-LAE at the University of Central Missouri, Gamma Epsilon Delta (GED), is committed to furthering the national objectives through its actions and events. Our chapter looks to add these objectives as well as provide students the opportunity to be a part of a student organization that benefits both their professional and personal life.  By becoming a member of our local chapter a member can expect to enjoy these benefits: numerous contacts in the field, guidance from experienced faculty and students, the opportunity to represent a highly ranked criminal justice program and improve the reputation of that department, acquiring first hand experience through conferences and competitions and improve academic learning through the hands on experience, and gain friendships with other students with similar interests,

GED became a chapter in 1966. Since that time this chapter has gained a lot of success in competition as well as on the campus of UCM. Currently they hold the title of five national championships and six time regional championships.
The chapter was named after G.E."Bill" Davila who was a professor in the department of Criminal Justice of UCM at the time.
